A wedding I will never forget

This wedding was a difficult one for both me and my husband

A few hours before we had to start shooting Andrew got a call from the hospital. His dad passed away after being in the hospital for 3 weeks. Of course as one can imagine going to shoot a wedding was not really what we wanted to do at the time but we could not let our lovely bride and groom down. So I shot the wedding and Andrew did videography as planned. In between the prep and venue we cried whilst we spoke to his brother… We gave ourselves a pep talk and shot the wedding as we would have any other day. Nobody apart from the venue knew what had just happened and everybody was happy celebrating this amazing wedding day. Have a look at this great venue and Vanessa and Sam´s special day.

sheriphotography: I am a photographer located on the Costa Blanca about ten minutes from Torrevieja and in between Alicante and Murcia. I cover most areas and places on the coast where a lot of couples choose to get married such as Altea, Benidorm, Javea, Mar Menor, San Miguel. Marbella and more. I am married and we have two little boys called Luca and Joshua. Because my husband and I share the same passion, they are probably the most photographed kids in the world. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by cameras. It all started because my favourite uncle had a camera around his neck. I would follow him around and try to pursuade him to let me hold the camera and take some pictures. I couldn't wait to see the results. When I was around 17, I took a couple of courses to develop my skills a bit more and after a while I worked as a second shooter along side a very good professional photographer, who thought me even more. I 've also got my intermediate vocational education in PR, Marketing and Management and Higher Vocational Education in HRM. I left the corporates behind me to pursue my true passion! To keep this all short and less boring but with a maximum update about me...Read below! Name: Friends and clients call me Sheri First thing I do in the morning: Kiss my boys good morning, Oh and make myself a coffee!! Favourite food: Pastas, Indonesian,Thai and Surinamese dishes. Favourite sweet: anything chocolate Favourite drinks: Mojito, Baileys and non-alcoholic water, Coke zero, nice cuppa tea and Starbucks coffee. Favourite country: Thailand! Haven't seen the whole world yet so that might change in the future but I doubt it though... Favourite programs: Suits, Scandal, Grey's anatomy, Revenge, Breaking Bad. Favourite thing to do: Have a family day, go to the beach, do yoga, paint, spend christmas with our family and take lots of photos! I hope you didn't fall a sleep while reading the update.
