Wedding in Melia Villaitana, Benidorm- Reena and Pierre

A beautiful wedding was held in the Melia Villaitana Golf Resort. The Hotel is situated in Benidorm and not far from Alicante International Airport. Therefore it is often chosen for a destination wedding. The Hotel is a stunning resort it has two golf courses, a Spa, a swimming pool and restaurants. It is like a little village with stunning back drops. Some guests enjoyed playing a round of  golf on the golf course on the morning of the wedding.

Reena and Pierre, the lovebirds, had an incredible day with their friends and family. Their friends and family came from all over the world: Spain, United Kingdom, South Africa, India, Malta etc.

The wedding

The bride and groom got ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen which is always lots of fun, the excitement of the day kicks in!! After the prep shots of the groom and the bride I made my way the ceremony area. The wedding ceremony was held outside in one of the gardens of the stunning Villaitana Resort  wedding venue, a lovely area to have the ceremony at because of it’s gorgeous views. After they said their vows, exchanged their wedding rings and had the kiss, confetti was thrown and the reception was held.

When you have your perfect wedding in Spain you like to celebrate as much as you can outdoors.  So they stayed and enjoyed their cocktail hour filled with canapes and bubbles, laughter with all the wedding guests and ofcourse pictures!

After the photos they had a lovely meal indoors . The wedding banquet was held in the room with the lovely red drapes above the bar/disco and then it was PARTY time. Reena and Pierre had a kick ass first dance! OMG I have never seen an opening dance like this one before. She changed into another dress which allowed her to dance easier.

sheriphotography: I am a photographer located on the Costa Blanca about ten minutes from Torrevieja and in between Alicante and Murcia. I cover most areas and places on the coast where a lot of couples choose to get married such as Altea, Benidorm, Javea, Mar Menor, San Miguel. Marbella and more. I am married and we have two little boys called Luca and Joshua. Because my husband and I share the same passion, they are probably the most photographed kids in the world. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by cameras. It all started because my favourite uncle had a camera around his neck. I would follow him around and try to pursuade him to let me hold the camera and take some pictures. I couldn't wait to see the results. When I was around 17, I took a couple of courses to develop my skills a bit more and after a while I worked as a second shooter along side a very good professional photographer, who thought me even more. I 've also got my intermediate vocational education in PR, Marketing and Management and Higher Vocational Education in HRM. I left the corporates behind me to pursue my true passion!
