Pilar de la Horadada
Ivan and Sarah chose Pilar de la Horadada to celebrate their destination wedding in Spain. The wedding day started of at a house in Cabo Roig. The bride and her bridesmaids had their preparation shots taken.
Ivan didn’t want his prep shots taken, he thought he would be way too nervous and the room would look like a bomb went off! Not only that, he said he wasn’t sure yet where he would be. He told me that he might book himself into a hotel where nobody could find him so he could have an early night for a change.
They stayed in Cabo Roig, this is a very busy place with bars and restaurants. Staying in Cabo Roig prior to the wedding made them very tired as they obviously partied every night and got up early to arrange wedding stuff !
Ceremony
Anyway, back to the BIG day! After the prep shots we went to the church in Pilar de la Horadada were the ceremony was conducted in Spanish and in English. Jackie and Debbie arranged this wedding and Jackie sang like an Angel in the church. She has got such an amazing voice WOW! After the ceremony everybody had a drink at the bar next to the church. Later on we went to Rebate where they had canapes and drinks under the palm trees and La Tuna Band played some lovely Spanish music as always. The wedding cake was made by Valerie from Cake Magic. It looked lovely , all white with handmade flowers. Bet it was yummy too! The wedding banquet was served in Rebate’s restaurant and after the delicious food the party kicked off. It was a proper Irish one!!
