Meeting

We met Laura and Ian on a little romantic break in London last year. Their Big day sounded amazing and after they booked me, my husband Andrew was kinda jealous as he wanted to be shooting their day too. Well as it turned out he didn’t get a booking on that day soooo he joined me!! Was lovely doing a wedding together, it had been a while.

Casa del Maco

Anyway back to Laura and Ian;-) She got ready in hotel Casa del Maco in Benissa together with their sweet little Ava, best friend Kizzy and her son Oakley. She wore a beautiful dress of Pronovias and looked stunning!! Mind you, think she can wear a bin bag and still look the part.

Ian got ready in a villa with all his mates and didn’t want prep shots. A mate of his Daniel who is a photographer too did do his prep and gosh they looked AMAZEBALLS! lol

Daniel is very talented and I am sure he will take the step someday, when he’s ready to go pro.

The wedding

The wedding ceremony was held in Altea la Vella church ‘ Santa Ana’ and was conducted by Eddie Martens.

After the ceremony they were walked down accopanied by a band to their local restaurant for some bubbles. The reception with canapes and bubbles was held in Casa Del Maco. This is where we took all the group shots and B&G shots. Followed by a gorgeous meal and party! The delicious cake was made by Valerie from Cakemagic.

The day after

The day after the wedding they where having a big private party on the ‘L’olla beach of Altea. We were their too to cover their relaxing after party with their amazing friends and family. See next post for pics of the after party.

I am a photographer located on the Costa Blanca about ten minutes from Torrevieja and in between Alicante and Murcia. I cover most areas and places on the coast where a lot of couples choose to get married such as Altea, Benidorm, Javea, Mar Menor, San Miguel. Marbella and more.

I am married and we have two little boys called Luca and Joshua. Because my husband and I share the same passion, they are probably the most photographed kids in the world. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by cameras. It all started because my favourite uncle had a camera around his neck. I would follow him around and try to pursuade him to let me hold the camera and take some pictures. I couldn't wait to see the results. When I was around 17, I took a couple of courses to develop my skills a bit more and after a while I worked as a second shooter along side a very good professional photographer, who thought me even more. I 've also got my intermediate vocational education in PR, Marketing and Management and Higher Vocational Education in HRM. I left the corporates behind me to pursue my true passion!

First thing I do in the morning: Kiss my boys good morning, Oh and make myself a coffee!!

Favourite food: Pastas, Indonesian,Thai and Surinamese dishes.

Favourite sweet: anything chocolate

Favourite drinks: Mojito, Baileys and non-alcoholic water, Coke zero, nice cuppa tea and Starbucks coffee.

Favourite country: Thailand! Haven't seen the whole world yet so that might change in the future but I doubt it though...

Favourite programs: Suits, Scandal, Grey's anatomy, Revenge, Breaking Bad.

Favourite thing to do: Have a family day, go to the beach, do yoga, paint, spend christmas with our family and take lots of photos!
